Starting with Praetor G2, a new technique was introduced to score a message based upon heuristics. This form of filtering scores a message based on the presence of certain enabled characteristics, each of which is given a weight. This method gives you a way to set spam detection to look for one or more spamming technique(s).
For single-factor characteristics which are indicated with a value of 1 in the Factor column, the very presence within the message will add the specified weight to the score. It does not matter how many times the characteristic is found in the message and only the weight value will be added to the score.
Multiple factor characteristics are indicated with a value of Multiple in the Factor column. It is different from the single factor type because the frequency found in the message is significant. In this case, the value added to the overall score will be the weight multiplied by the frequency.
If you double-click on any characteristic, you will be presented with a screen to change the weight and enable/disable it as part of the testing.

To change the value, either enter a value in the weight field or move the slider bar.
To enable or disable this characteristic from being included in the heuristic tests, check the box accordingly.
The Multiple Factor is informational only.
The heuristic filter is used by creating a condition that provides a score threshold.
