How does an "Independent Agent" differ from an "Authorized Reseller?

An IA informs CMS of the client to which they recommended CMS software. When the client decides to purchase, they directly contact CMS.

The IA is notified when the client's purchase order or credit card information is received.

How does an "Independent Agent" get their commission?

A commission check, based upon a percentage of the sale, is mailed to the IA after their client purchases the product from CMS
